Woody, All Day Project, and Hwasa Lead January's TENASIA Artist Top Ten
The January TENASIA voting service conducted a global poll from January 8 to 21, dividing the categories into K-Pop Boy Brand, K-Pop Girl Brand, and Hot Genre Brand. 'Artist Top Ten,' organized by TENASIA, is a monthly competition that selects the most talked-about domestic artists. Male idols, female idols, and genre artists (indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.) compete for the top spot in each category.
In the voting results, singer Woody claimed the top spot in the K-Pop Genre Brand category. On January 24, he appeared on KBS's variety show 'Immortal Songs' in the segment 'The Icon of Miracles Who Overcame Hard Times - Artist Yoo Yeol.' Woody received praise for his emotional rendition of 'Autumn Rain.' Before his performance, Woody expressed admiration for Yoo Yeol, who returned after a decade-long battle with illness, saying, "I truly respect the senior who overcame pain. I hope he knows that his resilience inspires younger artists."
The group All Day Project secured the second position. On January 10 (local time), they won the Digital Music Award and Rookie Award at the '40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit' held at the Taipei Dome. During their acceptance speech, they said, "We are still not used to such a big stage, but thanks to the fans who always support us, we can enjoy it with gratitude. We will strive to become artists worthy of this great award."
Hwasa took third place. She participated in the OST for the crime entertainment movie 'Project Y,' joining renowned Korean vocalists like Kim Wan-sun, DeVita, Hoody, and An Shin-ae. Additionally, Hwasa held her debut solo concert '2026 HWASA CONCERT 'MI CASA'' on January 17 and 18 at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul, meeting with fans.
Following them were J-Hope, WOODZ, Davichi, Park Seo-jin, AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk, Kim Da-hyun, and Roy Kim.
The rankings of Woody, All Day Project, Hwasa, J-Hope, WOODZ, Davichi, Park Seo-jin, AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk, Kim Da-hyun, and Roy Kim are determined by 100% of the voting scores conducted on the TENASIA application. After the monthly voting concludes, the top 10 artists are selected based on the highest combined scores from fan votes. The voting page also offers an event where participants receive one heart daily for checking in.
Candidates for the K-Pop Boy Brand and K-Pop Girl Brand categories are selected from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Idol Champ Chart. Candidates for the Hot Genre Brand category are chosen from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Celeb Champ Chart.
Artists who make it to the 'Artist Top Ten' TOP 10 receive benefits such as a special article linked to their final ranking, promotion on the TENASIA website, and inclusion in the next month's Artist Top Ten candidates (limited to the first-place artist).
