Girls' Generation's Seohyun Faces Allegations of Favoritism Over Violin Performance
Girls' Generation member and actress Seohyun is currently embroiled in allegations of favoritism regarding her upcoming violin performance, drawing attention to her past violin playing experience.

Seohyun's agency, Dream Entertainment, announced that she will be a special collaborator at the '8th Regular Concert of the Sol Philharmonic Orchestra' on March 13 at 8 PM, held at the Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. This performance came to fruition as Seohyun resonated with the orchestra's mission, which consists of classical music enthusiasts rather than professional musicians.

The agency described Seohyun as a hobbyist who has been learning the violin for about five months. The fact that Seohyun, who recently started playing the violin, is performing with an orchestra has sparked online debates, with some questioning if this is a case of 'celebrity favoritism.'

However, traces of Seohyun's past connection with the violin on her social media make it difficult to support the favoritism allegations. In February last year, Seohyun shared a photo of her violin with the caption, 'Found it. My old violin,' and on May 5, Children's Day, she posted a picture of herself playing the violin as a child.

Meanwhile, through her agency, Seohyun expressed her hopes that her challenge would bring people closer to classical music and help them discover new joys. She stated, 'I want to convey that classical music, like pop music, is 'music for all of us' that anyone can easily and joyfully enjoy.'
