Former AOA Member Kwon Mina Addresses Fan Concerns Over Late-Night Photo

Former AOA member and singer Kwon Mina sparked concern among fans with a photo posted in the early hours, but it turned out to be a simple misunderstanding.

On the morning of the 16th, Kwon Mina shared a photo on her social media account with the caption, "Opened my eyes and closed them again." The image featured an unidentified red light against a dark background.

Fans who saw the post expressed worry for Kwon Mina's well-being, as she has previously spoken about her psychological struggles. Earlier this month, she was rescued after posting a message hinting at self-harm. Concerned followers left comments such as "Is something wrong?" and "She seems anxious," closely monitoring the situation.

As the concern grew, Kwon Mina clarified the situation about four hours after the initial post. She uploaded an additional photo of a brightly lit ceiling to explain.

Kwon Mina stated, "I just woke up in the middle of the night and thought the red light was interesting, so I posted it." She added, "I'm sorry if I caused any worry or concern."

Previously, Kwon Mina resumed her social media activities, promising to focus on her physical and mental recovery and to avoid causing fatigue with emotional revelations. Her recent clarification seems to be an effort to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings.
