Recently, Hong Jin-young took to Instagram to share her excitement for the new year, writing, "Let's run this year! Happy New Year everyone," and added, "It's cold today, everyone be careful not to catch a cold."

In the photo, Hong Jin-young is seen sitting in front of a mirror, holding her phone and looking into the camera. She is wearing a navy-toned inner outfit with a light-colored gown, receiving natural makeup, while staff members assist her on either side. The image captures the tension and focus of pre-stage preparations, with her sharp features and calm expression under clean lighting, embodying her determination for the new year.

Previously, Hong Jin-young's agency addressed a controversy involving a past photo with a woman known as 'Injection Auntie.' The agency, IMH Entertainment, released an official statement regarding the photo that surfaced on a YouTube channel.

The agency explained, "The photo in question was taken during Hong Jin-young's 'Boogie Man' promotions following 'Love Battery,' approximately 12 years ago at a hospital."

They added, "Hong Jin-young herself confirmed that the photo was taken so long ago that she doesn't remember the person she took it with."

The agency further stated, "As a singer, Hong Jin-young has participated in numerous promotional photo shoots for various products, brands, and hospitals. The hospital visit in question is too old to recall."

They emphasized, "Hong Jin-young and the woman in the photo are not connected on social media and have no personal relationship. We kindly ask for restraint in speculative reporting on this matter."

Born in 1985, Hong Jin-young is 40 years old and rose to fame in 2009 with her hit song 'Love Battery.' She has since become a leading figure in the trot music genre with hits like 'Living' and 'Thumbs Up.' Hong Jin-young is also known to be the head of a cosmetics brand.
