Han Ga-in Reflects on Health Scare and Embraces Running with Sean's Guidance
On November 1, the YouTube channel 'Free Woman Han Ga-in' released a video titled 'The Amazing Changes When Han Ga-in, with Poor Stamina, Started Running Regularly (Sean's Advice)'.
In the video, Han Ga-in shared, "A year ago, I collapsed due to low blood pressure. I was at a point where I wondered if I could continue with YouTube. I thought if my health improved, I would definitely start running," explaining her motivation to take up running.
Han Ga-in expressed her admiration, saying, "I'm a fan of yours and your wife, Jung Hye-young. Watching her exercise was very inspiring." Sean then demonstrated stretching techniques and running methods before their 2km run.
During the workout, Han Ga-in asked, "Doesn't your wife worry when you participate in multiple marathons a year?" Sean replied, "In 2025 alone, I participated in 11 marathons. Including 10km races, it was 25 events. I come home, do the dishes, and play with the kids, so there's no issue."
As a new runner, Han Ga-in said, "I run to stay healthy and live a long life. It's a great exercise that doesn't cost much." Sean humorously added, "That's not true. Once you're into running, you'll want gear like watches, sunglasses, and earphones."
Sean's dedication to running was evident as he shared, "I wake up at 4:30 AM to run 10-20km and then wake the kids for school. Hye-young likes to sleep in." Han Ga-in responded with admiration, "She's beautiful and loves her sleep."
Meanwhile, Han Ga-in experienced a humorous moment of being unrecognized. While walking with Sean on Jamsu Bridge, only Sean was recognized by passersby. Sean joked, "When I ran with Park Bo-gum, only I was recognized. I'm the most famous at the Han River," dubbing himself the 'BTS of the Han River'.
