Below is the full statement from Jun Hyun-moo's agency, SM C&C.
Hello, this is SM C&C, the agency representing broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo.
To clarify the facts regarding past broadcast footage that has been spreading online, we are releasing the following statement.
The scene in question is from a 2016 episode of 'I Live Alone.' At that time, Jun Hyun-moo was experiencing throat issues and received treatment based on the diagnosis and prescription of a hospital doctor. Due to time constraints before filming, a portion of the treatment process was unavoidably completed while on the move, which was partially aired.
All medical procedures, except for the final touches, were conducted within the hospital under the guidance and prescription of medical professionals. There was no personal summoning of medical personnel or receipt of illegal procedures.
The current allegations stem from misunderstandings due to the lack of context and full understanding of the situation at the time, with certain scenes being discussed online.
We urge restraint from baseless speculation and distorted interpretations to prevent the spread of misinformation.
