The driver's license photo humorously features blue pen-drawn tears under his eyes, possibly symbolizing the challenges or joy of obtaining the license. Known for his love of cycling, RM's acquisition of a driver's license surprised fans.

Previously, RM announced on a Weverse live broadcast, "I, Kim Namjoon, got my driver's license," earning applause. He explained, "I don't plan to buy a car; I just wanted to try it and overcome my trauma."

RM also addressed comments from a recent live broadcast where he mentioned the possibility of the group's disbandment, apologizing for causing concern among fans. He expressed his dedication to focusing on music, choreography, and new content.

During the broadcast, RM shared his concerns about the group's direction and the pressure of their upcoming full-group comeback in spring. He clarified, "We didn't want to waste the latter half of 2025. I wanted to be active after my military service, but there are things I can't say."

RM revealed he often contemplated whether to disband or pause activities but decided to continue out of love for the members and respect for fans. He emphasized the importance of living life beyond the camera to create meaningful content.

BTS is currently preparing for a full-group comeback in March.
