Hwang Bo-ra's Husband Cha Hyun-woo Reveals Why He Keeps His Face Hidden

Hwang Bo-ra's husband, Cha Hyun-woo, has opened up about why he keeps his face hidden from the public.

On the 16th, the YouTube channel 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety' released a video titled 'Shocking Declaration on Wedding Anniversary and Husband's Real Reaction.'

In the video, Hwang Bo-ra and her husband Cha Hyun-woo celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary by spending quality time together. Hwang Bo-ra expressed her feelings, saying, "My husband agreed to appear on YouTube. I consider it a wedding anniversary gift."

The couple playfully bickered in the car. Cha Hyun-woo said, "Don't act for YouTube, just show yourself as you are," adding, "We can go to nice places, but you don't like beef, so we're going to Namdaemun."

Hwang Bo-ra, who has been in the broadcasting industry for 22 years, confessed, "Including our dating period, we've been together for 15 years, but it's awkward to be on a broadcast with my husband for the first time." She also noted, "My husband has gained 16kg since we got married," and requested past photos.

Cha Hyun-woo, who has been reluctant to show his face on broadcasts, revealed, "I've lived as someone's son. Unless you're in my shoes, you wouldn't know how many restrictions that brings. Every action is cautious."

Hwang Bo-ra humorously comforted him, saying, "You've lived as Kim Yong-gun's son, Ha Jung-woo's brother, and now you're Hwang Bo-ra's husband."

The couple first met at a local bar. Cha Hyun-woo recalled, "I wasn't interested at first, but I noticed her carrying a newspaper in her bag. She said she did editorial scrapbooking, so I confessed, but she rejected me, saying she didn't like celebrities."

However, Hwang Bo-ra's true self emerged six months into their relationship. Cha Hyun-woo revealed, "I suggested we just be comfortable friends, but then she texted me saying 'save me.' She was drunk and locked in a car. She suddenly kissed me, and that's how we started dating. I was really taken aback."

Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra expressed her strong desire to have a second child, saying, "I want a daughter. We're already preparing, and you'd be surprised at how much." Cha Hyun-woo pointed out, "But you drink every day?" yet added, "If we have another, I'd be grateful."

Hwang Bo-ra made a public promise to quit drinking from their wedding anniversary, humorously adding, "Let's work on our relationship. We haven't done much." Cha Hyun-woo, feeling embarrassed, replied, "Write that in a note." Hwang Bo-ra then surprised him with a kiss.

When Hwang Bo-ra suddenly asked, "Have you ever thought about divorcing me?" Cha Hyun-woo replied, "I've never thought about it," while breaking into a nervous sweat, providing a moment of laughter.
