Born in 1983, the 42-year-old is a graduate of the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and previously worked as a reporter for SBS. Ahn Hyun-mo married Brand New Music CEO Rhymer in 2017, but the couple divorced in November 2023. Despite the separation, she remains active in her career and other pursuits.
