Lee Min-jung Shares Harrowing Experience of Falling with Her 2-Year-Old Daughter

Actress Lee Min-jung recently opened up about a frightening incident where she fell while holding her 2-year-old daughter.

On the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ,' a video titled 'A Nostalgic Trip with My Only Celebrity Friend from College, Jaesung - They Call Me Min-jung Noona...' was uploaded on the 9th.

In the video, Lee Min-jung and Hwang Jae-sung revealed that they were classmates in the first batch of the Acting and Arts Department at Sungkyunkwan University. Hwang humorously noted, "Even when I say we were classmates, no one believes me, like it's a fairy tale."

Hwang jokingly exposed, "Lee Min-jung came from a wealthy family, a bourgeois family, while I was from a humble one. If I was late, I had to hike, but she took a taxi." He added, "Even if she was late, the professors didn't say anything because she was pretty."

As they walked to the building where they used to have classes, Hwang teased, "You should experience the commoner's life too." Lee Min-jung insisted, "I walked a lot too."

Hwang, amazed by Lee Min-jung's unchanged beauty after 25 years, asked, "How is it that you have no shadows on your face? Don't you have any hardships in life?" Lee Min-jung showed a scar on her arm and confessed, "Look at this. It happened while I was carrying Seo-i."

Lee Min-jung explained that she fell while carrying her 24-month-old daughter, Seo-i. "The child weighs 13kg, and when she suddenly shifted, I stumbled on a slope. In the 0.2 seconds of falling, I thought, 'If I fall like this, her head might get hurt, and even if I roll over, she could still get injured. What should I do?'" she recounted.

When Hwang laughed and asked, "Are you some kind of superhero?" Lee Min-jung replied, "It's truly a mother's superpower. I thought, 'I must protect her head,' so I wrapped her with my arms, and the impact hit my arms, elbows, and knees."

People gathered around after seeing Lee Min-jung fall with her child, and some who witnessed the incident sent her DMs expressing concern. Lee Min-jung shared, "My knee was bleeding. The child cried out of shock, and I cried from the pain. I called my husband, crying, 'I can't walk,' and he rushed over in his pajamas, looking pale."
