SHINee's Minho recently appeared on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip' and shared his thoughts on various topics, including his daily fitness routine and his stance on politics.

Minho explained his habit of posting 'Ounwan' (short for 'Today's Workout Completed') on social media. He said, "My friends didn't believe me when I said I worked out every day. They thought I was lying, and I hate lying more than anything. So, I started posting daily to prove it."

Known for his exceptional physical abilities, Minho shared, "I can't remember the last time I had a cold. It's been over five years. I believe in moving my body to fight off any illness, rather than resting and letting the virus spread. I never take medicine, although my mom doesn't like that." He proudly mentioned that he never contracted COVID-19 during the pandemic.

When asked by Jang Do-yeon if his rival was Kim Jong-kook, Minho humorously replied, "Kim Jong-kook is an insurmountable wall." He added, "On national holidays, if you go to the gym, you'll find Kim Jong-kook, Rain, and me there," eliciting laughter.

Minho also talked about the SM London Running event, which included fellow artists like TVXQ's Changmin, EXO's Suho and Chanyeol, and NCT's Kun, Johnny, and Xiaojun. He clarified, "Honestly, the younger members suggested we run together."

He continued, "EXO's Kai proposed the idea. Changmin joined us, and the younger members were happy to participate. NCT's Shotaro is also a good runner. We planned to run together again, but it got canceled three times due to scheduling conflicts. But to be clear, they were the ones who wanted to run together."

Having recently completed a two-month theater run, Minho reflected, "Theater has been a long-time dream of mine. I was feeling stuck in a rut, doing the same things over and over, when the opportunity for theater came along. It was a chance for growth."

When asked about the best compliment he received from senior actors, Minho said, "They told me, 'You're doing well, and we hope to see you in theater for a long time.' It made me so happy and felt like recognition. Even though it's high praise, I'm grateful and want to show even better performances in the future. I realized I'm not on the wrong path."

Jang Do-yeon commented on Minho's exemplary attitude, likening him to a future politician. Minho responded, "Politics is not for me. That's not the path I want to take," drawing attention with his candidness.
