Former 2NE1 Member Park Bom Reopens Legal Battle Against YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun-suk

Park Bom, former member of the iconic K-pop group 2NE1, has once again brought to light her legal dispute against YG Entertainment's chief producer, Yang Hyun-suk. In a recent Instagram post, Park Bom inadvertently revealed her full phone number, raising concerns about her privacy.

In the early hours of October 23, Park Bom shared a post on Instagram stating, "Park Bom hates YG. Dear internet users, please find out what YG did to Park Bom. Thank you," accompanied by a legal complaint document.

The document names Park Bom as the complainant and Yang Hyun-suk as the defendant. Park Bom claims, "The defendant has failed to pay the earnings that should have been rightfully given to the complainant for an extended period. I demand a thorough investigation and legal action."

She further alleges that "the defendant did not fairly distribute the earnings from music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, songwriting, and composing," citing astronomical figures.

Park Bom also accuses YG of not providing detailed financial statements, resulting in severe economic and mental distress, which she describes as clear acts of fraud and embezzlement.

This is not the first time Park Bom has shared such a post; she uploaded a similar one on October 22 but later deleted it. The previous post had her phone number partially obscured, but the recent one exposed eight digits, causing concern among fans. Comments flooded in, urging her to "hide your number," "please take it down," and expressing sadness over the situation. Park Bom, who has previously stirred controversy with self-generated dating rumors and heavily edited selfies, once again draws attention with her erratic behavior.

Meanwhile, Park Bom is currently on a hiatus from 2NE1 activities. Her agency previously announced that she would be stepping back, stating, "After receiving medical advice for sufficient rest and stability, we have decided, after deep discussions, that this is necessary. We ask for your warm encouragement for Park Bom's recovery."

Park Bom last performed with 2NE1 during the halftime show at the Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle United FC friendly match at Seoul's Sangam World Cup Stadium on August 3. Since then, she has not been active in the entertainment scene.
