Actor Jung Sung-il Announces Divorce After 9 Years of Marriage

On the 14th, his agency, XYZ Studio, released a statement saying, "Actor Jung Sung-il and his spouse have decided to end their marriage after careful consideration over a long period. We kindly ask for restraint from speculative or distorted reports, as this decision was made through mutual agreement without any fault on either side."
The agency further stated, "Although the legal relationship has been resolved, they continue to support each other's paths and are committed to co-parenting their child diligently. Jung Sung-il will continue to strive to present his best as an actor, and we ask for your continued interest and support."
Jung Sung-il, who married in 2016, has one son. At 45 years old, he debuted in 2002 with the film 'H' and has appeared in movies like 'The Policeman's Lineage' and dramas such as 'The Uncanny Counter' and 'Stranger 2.'
After enduring a long period of obscurity, Jung Sung-il gained recognition in 2023 for his role as Ha Do-young, the husband of Park Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon), in the Netflix drama 'The Glory.'
