Actor Jung Sung-il from Netflix's 'The Glory' Divorces After 9 Years of Marriage

On the 14th, a media outlet exclusively reported that "Jung Sung-il recently divorced his non-celebrity wife."
According to the report, the couple decided to part ways after much consideration, and the divorce proceedings were completed amicably.
Jung Sung-il had previously shared on a broadcast that he met his wife through a friend's friend, dated for three years, broke up, and then reunited by chance, leading to marriage within three months. This cinematic love story makes the news of their divorce even more surprising.
The couple married in 2016 and have a son born in 2017.
Jung Sung-il, born in 1980, is 45 years old this year. He debuted in the 2002 film 'H' and has appeared in films like 'The Policeman's Lineage' and dramas such as 'The Uncanny Counter' and 'Stranger 2.' After a long period of obscurity, his role as Ha Do-young, the husband of Park Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon), in the 2023 Netflix drama 'The Glory' significantly boosted his domestic and international recognition.
In 'The Glory,' Ha Do-young discovers his wife Park Yeon-jin's past school violence and her affair with Jeon Jae-joon (played by Park Sung-hoon), leading him to demand a divorce from her.
