Earlier in April, Shoo had posted on her social media about her son winning a medal in a competition, with captions like "Bronze Medal Award" and "Congratulations on Winning."

Shoo's life took a turn when she was convicted in February 2019 for habitual gambling overseas, involving 26 instances and a total of approximately 7.9 billion won between August 2016 and May 2018. She received a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, along with 80 hours of community service.

Recently, Shoo has transitioned into a new role as a health food entrepreneur, cultivating Centella asiatica, a key ingredient in Madecassol, on a 1,500-pyeong farm. This marks her shift towards promoting a healthy lifestyle and showcasing her business acumen.
