Rumors Swirl Around VERIVERY's Kangmin and KISS OF LIFE's Julie Amid Dating Speculations
On the 28, a video surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo, showing a man and woman engaging in intimate behavior in what appears to be a private room of a bar. In the footage, the man is seen touching the woman's hair as she lies on a sofa, and later hugging her from behind as she attempts to leave the room. The woman is also seen using an electronic cigarette. The video, believed to be captured by the bar's CCTV, is dated May 7.
As the video circulated, some netizens speculated that the individuals in the video were Kangmin and Julie. However, the man's face is blurred, making it difficult to confirm his identity, while the woman's face is relatively clearer. Another netizen later released additional photos, questioning the claims by stating, "Does this look like Kangmin?" The man in the photos was confirmed to be someone other than Kangmin, weakening the speculative claims.
In response, both parties' agencies have begun verifying the facts. Fans have expressed concern over the indiscriminate spread of personal information and baseless dating rumors, urging the agencies to take strong action against the dissemination of false information and defamation.
Kangmin recently appeared on Mnet's 'BOYS II PLANET,' finishing in 9th place. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, "The four-month-long journey has ended. It was challenging, but I am happy to have been part of a great show with wonderful people. I sincerely thank everyone who supported me." Julie, a member of KISS OF LIFE, released the single 'Kiss Road' and the mini-album '224' in May and is continuing her activities with an official debut in Japan scheduled for later this year.
