Lee Byung-hun Makes Blurred Appearance on Lee Min-jung's YouTube Channel

Actor Lee Byung-hun made a blurred appearance.

On the 16th, the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' released a video titled 'Finally, My Husband and Colleagues Arrive. Reactions from the Venice Film Festival. Wishing Success for 'I Can't Help It'.'

In the video, Lee Min-jung invited Lee Byung-hun, Park Hee-jun, and director Park Chan-wook to discuss the film 'I Can't Help It'. Although it was Lee Byung-hun's first official appearance on Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel, his face was blurred for over 40 minutes as a humorous consequence of not reaching the '500,000 subscribers' milestone.

Lee Byung-hun commented, "I came here looking sharp, but I'm not sure if my face will be shown. I came thinking it would be." Lee Min-jung shared her struggles with using formal language with her husband during the broadcast.

Reflecting on working with director Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun for the first time in 25 years since 'Joint Security Area', Lee Min-jung expressed her excitement, saying, "At home, Lee Byung-hun mentioned that the director has become more meticulous and persistent. He also received praise for his 'best acting', which kept him in a good mood the next day."

Lee Byung-hun humorously added, "The director and I aren't usually ones to compliment each other, so when he did, I wondered if he was a bit tipsy."

Lee Byung-hun, who had been offered a directing role by Park Chan-wook years ago, emphasized, "I don't think I have that ability. I have no desire or thought of doing it."

He further explained, "While filming this movie, I became more certain of that. Seeing the director constantly worry about colors, clothing patterns, and even the smallest props, I realized I could never do it."

Park Chan-wook humorously remarked, "There’s a lot more work compared to the money you see," causing laughter. Lee Byung-hun added, "If I had to quit acting and do just that, it would be a tough decision. If I had to juggle both acting and directing, it would be impossible for a person."
