Lee Min-jung Addresses 'Silver Spoon' Rumors and Reflects on Her Journey

On the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' on the 9th, a special segment titled 'Lee Min-jung's Life Explanation' was aired, featuring fellow actresses Wang Bit-na and Lee So-yeon. The segment revealed insights from the 'silver spoon' rumors to behind-the-scenes stories of her casting in 'Boys Over Flowers.'
Regarding the 'silver spoon' rumors, Lee Min-jung stated, "There are stories about my grandfather and uncle receiving presidential awards in the art field and being a KAIST professor at the Antarctic base, and those are true," she confirmed. "But if you look at it economically, it's a bit of a stretch to call me a silver spoon," she clarified.

Lee Min-jung added, "In terms of my parents providing good education and letting me pursue what I wanted, I guess I was a silver spoon. But I wasn't a silver spoon who could spend money lavishly," she drew a line.
Having earned her own college tuition, Lee Min-jung shared, "I like the saying 'suffering in youth is worth buying.' Money comes and goes. Happiness isn't all about money, but money is necessary because it increases possibilities," she conveyed.

Lee Min-jung explained, "I plan to keep Jun-hoo's face private. While it might be exciting for him to be recognized outside, he might find it uncomfortable as a middle or high school student," she said. "He can decide when he's an adult. In fact, since he's playing youth basketball, people can see him if they want. At basketball games, people say, 'He looks just like his dad,'" she revealed.
Meanwhile, when asked about her current goals, Lee Min-jung stated, "Right now, it's about living happily day by day."
