Tensions Rise as MC Mong and Lee Da-in Clash Over Social Media Post
In a recent social media spat, South Korean singer MC Mong has responded to actress Lee Da-in, wife of singer Lee Seung-gi, after she publicly criticized him.

On October 4, MC Mong took to his social media to post a zoomed-in image of Lee Da-in's face from a group photo he had shared the previous day. He captioned it with the phrase, "Join when you should!" He further added, "Whether I post a photo from a year ago or one I liked, before you make me dislike you more," and questioned, "Would I abandon family like you?"

This was seen as a counter to Lee Da-in's earlier comment expressing her displeasure over MC Mong's decision to post a group photo taken over a year ago. She had questioned, "Why post a photo from over a year ago now and cause a stir?"

Previously, on October 3, MC Mong had shared a black-and-white group photo featuring Lee Seung-gi, Lee Da-in, actress Lee Yoo-bi, and Cha Ga-won, the chairman of One Hundred. In response, Lee Da-in posted what appeared to be the original color version of the photo on her social media, confirming it was taken on July 18 of the previous year. She reiterated her confusion and displeasure, stating, "I really can't understand why you would post a photo from over a year ago now."

Meanwhile, MC Mong had announced in July that he was stepping back from his roles at One Hundred and Big Planet Made, citing plans to study abroad. He revealed at the time that he was suffering from severe depression and health issues following surgery, which made it difficult for him to continue his music career. He expressed his intention to find a way to continue making music for a longer time.
