Comedian and Artist Im Ha-ryong Hosts 7th Solo Exhibition 'Im Ha-ryong's Art Party 2'

Comedian, actor, and painter Im Ha-ryong is set to host his 7th solo exhibition, 'Im Ha-ryong's Art Party 2'.

The exhibition will take place from the 19th of this month to October 14th at the Passion Gallery located in Rose Square, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu. It will feature approximately 35 of the artist's latest works.

Im Ha-ryong has developed a unique artistic style through various themes and formats, such as 'Eyes', 'Arabic Numerals', and 'Hangul'. In 'Im Ha-ryong's Art Party 2', he continues the theme of 'Longing' from his previous exhibition, while also incorporating warm stories about life, family, and people, ultimately infusing 'cheerfulness' throughout his works.

Since his first solo exhibition in 2019, Im Ha-ryong has held annual exhibitions, adhering to his principle of 'one exhibition a year as a promise to myself'. His agency describes the 7th solo exhibition 'Im Ha-ryong's Art Party 2' as a continuation of his previous work, offering richer stories and a deepened artistic style.

Im Ha-ryong expressed, "Sometimes I worry about falling into a rut, but ultimately, what I want to convey is laughter and joy," adding, "I hope to share happiness with the audience through my cheerful paintings."
