Rising Star: DinDin Gains Popularity After 'Workman' Appearance

On the 30th, a new episode of 'Workman' titled 'Please... Just Drink Americano... The Marines of the Cafe World! MGC Coffee' was uploaded, featuring DinDin as a guest.
Upon meeting Lee Joon, DinDin filled the audio with questions like "What part-time jobs have you done?" and "Why are you a Taekwondo instructor?" He also noted the declining popularity of 'Workman' by checking the view count of Lee Joon's interview video, which was uploaded two days prior, and remarked, "It's not even two hours ago, and it's only at 70,000 views?"
'Workman' is gaining attention again by featuring DinDin as a guest. DinDin joined regular host Lee Joon at an M-brand cafe for a day of part-time work. As soon as they started, DinDin instructed Lee Joon to "remove the straws from the cups before putting them in the sink," and when the manager made the same mistake, DinDin pointed it out, showing his keen eye for detail.

DinDin also asked more questions and had more reactions than the regular host. He inquired about the manager's experience with the previous host, Jang Sung-kyu, and when the manager mentioned Jang talked a lot, Lee Joon explained it was because he was busy. DinDin humorously retorted, "That's what 'Workman' is about. If you're just going to work, why wear a mic?"
DinDin continued with his questions, asking the manager what improvements he wanted for the cafe. When the manager said he wished for more pay, Lee Joon assumed the manager earned a high salary, to which DinDin pointed out, "That's the problem with celebrities. They have no concept of money's value," and humorously criticized Lee Joon's lifestyle.

As of 4 PM on the 1st, the episode featuring DinDin had reached 1.36 million views, doubling the views of the previous day's episode with IVE's Liz and Kiki's Jiyu, which had 660,000 views. It also surpassed the episode featuring the entire IVE group, which had 690,000 views.
Viewers are now calling for DinDin to become a regular on the show, praising his work ethic and entertaining presence.
A year ago, NMIXX's Haewon gained fame on 'Workman' with her iconic line "Appearance check!" and has since become a sought-after figure in the entertainment industry, appearing in various commercials and shows.
Despite appearing on KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night,' DinDin has not yet gained significant attention. As he marks his 12th year in the industry, this 'Workman' appearance could be the breakthrough he needs to become a major star.
