Korean Actress Go Min-si Denies School Bullying Allegations, Vows to Prove Innocence

On the 30th, Go Min-si took to her social media to post a lengthy statement refuting the claims, which surfaced approximately three months ago in May through social media.
Go expressed her emotional turmoil, stating, "For months, I've been waiting for the investigation results, trying to calm my turbulent emotions countless times each day. I feel it's my duty to clarify my stance for those who have been waiting."
She acknowledged her past, saying, "I was a student who enjoyed mischief and spent my school days recklessly, and I am more aware of this than anyone else. Although I may not have been perfect, I've strived to live a better life with sincerity."
Go Min-si firmly denied the allegations, stating, "There is absolutely no reason for me to bear false accusations due to my imperfect past. I can categorically say that I have never engaged in school bullying." She added that she has submitted all relevant evidence to support her innocence, and the investigation is ongoing.

In May, when the allegations first emerged, her agency Mystic Story (Mystic Actors) declared them "clearly false and baseless." They reiterated their trust in the actress after confirming with her that the allegations were untrue.
The lack of further clarification led to skepticism among netizens, especially given past instances where bullying allegations were raised, her admission and apology for underage drinking in 2021, and the agency's proactive defense of actor Jo Han-sun against similar allegations. With Go Min-si finally addressing the issue after three months, attention is focused on how this will impact her future career.
