Renowned K-pop singer Lee Hyori is set to open a yoga studio in Seoul next month.

On the 29th, a media outlet reported that Lee Hyori will launch a yoga studio named 'ANANDA YOGA' in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, during the first week of September.

The outlet explained that the name 'Ananda' is derived from Sanskrit, meaning joy and bliss, and has been used by Lee Hyori as her yoga persona since 2023.

According to TenAsia, 'ANANDA YOGA' already has an Instagram account under the handle 'ananda_hyori'. The classes will be conducted on a reservation basis, and Lee Hyori's husband, Lee Sang-soon, is following the account.

Lee Hyori has previously been seen diligently participating in yoga classes on JTBC's 'Hyori's Homestay'. In May, she shared a brief message, "Thank you," on her social media, along with photos of herself teaching yoga to a large group of students, even correcting their postures personally.

This new venture comes approximately 15 months after her husband, Lee Sang-soon, ceased operations of his café in Jeju Island in May last year. Lee Sang-soon had been running the café since July 2022, but due to the influx of visitors causing inconvenience to local businesses and residents, it eventually closed after two years.

Lee Hyori married singer-songwriter Lee Sang-soon in 2013 and lived in Jeju Island for 11 years before relocating to Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, in the latter half of last year.
