Former Gymnast Son Yeon-jae Shares Concerns Over Second Child's Gender

Former gymnast Son Yeon-jae recently opened up about her concerns regarding the gender of her second child.

On the 22nd, the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' featured an episode titled 'Three Women United by Parenting at the Golf Course,' with appearances by Park In-bee and Son Yeon-jae.

During the episode, Lee Min-jung shared, "I'm going to play golf, which is my only sports hobby." As a Porsche ambassador, she expressed her admiration for the electric Porsche she got to drive, noting its quietness and impressive performance.

Lee Min-jung caught up with Park In-bee and Son Yeon-jae, praising Park for her parenting skills with her daughter In-seo. Son Yeon-jae, who recently revealed plans for a second child, showed interest in having children close in age.

Park In-bee candidly shared, "Having children close in age is not easy," to which Son Yeon-jae responded, "I've been contemplating having a second child, but it's already a bit late for them to be close in age."

Park advised, "Just don't have another," drawing attention. Son Yeon-jae added, "Everyone tells me, 'Just raise one child elegantly on your own.'"

Lee Min-jung, whose children are eight years apart, shared, "I have many friends with children close in age, so I intentionally spaced mine out. Now, my older child helps look after the younger one, keeping them safe."

Son Yeon-jae expressed her concerns, saying, "I'm envious of those with daughters. I'm worried that if I have a second child, it might be another boy."

Lee Min-jung humorously added, "Having a daughter isn't always what you expect. My daughter is quite active, climbing refrigerator handles. I thought she'd sit and draw, but that's not the case in our house."
