South Korean Entertainer Park Mi-sun Diagnosed with Early-Stage Breast Cancer
Renowned South Korean entertainer Park Mi-sun, 58, has reportedly been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, leading to a sudden halt in her activities.

On the 22nd, a media outlet reported that Park Mi-sun received the diagnosis during a hospital check-up earlier this year.

According to the report, the early detection of the disease means that Park has a high chance of full recovery with just radiation and medication. She is currently focusing on her treatment and rest.

However, on the same day, a representative from Cube Entertainment, Park's agency, stated to multiple media outlets, "It is difficult to confirm the details as it pertains to personal medical information, but she is taking a break for health reasons."

Park Mi-sun debuted in 1988 as a comedian through MBC's open recruitment and has since become a beloved national MC, appearing in numerous variety shows and sitcoms. She married fellow comedian Lee Bong-won in 1993, and they have a son and a daughter.
