NewJeans' Danielle Joins 8.15km Run Amidst Legal Battle with Agency
NewJeans member Danielle recently showcased her healthy lifestyle as a runner.

On the 21st, singer Sean shared on his Instagram, "On the evening of August 15th, I received a text from Danielle saying, 'I'll come to cheer you on tomorrow!' She ran 8.15km with 19,450 other runners!" He added, "Thank you, Danielle, for coming to support us," along with a photo.

In the released photo, Danielle is seen enjoying her run with a smile. Notably, she gives a thumbs-up while running with the year 1945, the year of Korea's liberation, displayed on her abdomen, catching the eye.

Previously, on the 14th, Danielle appeared at the Seoul Central District Court with fellow member Minji. This was due to a mediation hearing for a lawsuit filed by their agency, ADOR, regarding the validity of their exclusive contract with NewJeans. As they exited their vehicle and headed to the court, Minji remained silent in response to reporters' questions, while Danielle greeted the journalists with a smile.

Meanwhile, NewJeans is currently restricted from all commercial activities, including music performances, TV appearances, events, and advertisements, following a court ruling in favor of ADOR's injunction to preserve the agency's status and prohibit advertising contracts.

Additionally, the court accepted ADOR's indirect compulsion application against NewJeans, ruling that if the group engages in independent activities without the agency, they must compensate 1 billion KRW per member.
