Actor Jin Tae-hyun Reflects on the Third Anniversary of His Daughter's Passing
Jin Tae-hyun greeted his followers on Instagram, saying, "Hello, this is Jin Tae-hyun. Are you at peace? I am at peace, but still searching for it."
He continued, "Today marks three years since my daughter went to heaven. I thought time would heal, but I don't know why my heart feels cold when the hot August comes." He added, "I pray that today will pass peacefully with my wife as we remember her. Although the joyful memories of those 9 months and 2 weeks haven't fully healed, the painful memories are slowly mending."
Jin Tae-hyun expressed, "No matter how great the news in the future, I don't think I will ever forget all the memories of my daughter. But as always, I aim to move forward in a positive direction." He concluded, "Today is still a good day. I prepared early in the morning to go to work," and shared a photo with the message, "I'll be back safely. Have a great day, everyone."
In the photo, Jin Tae-hyun is seen in a simple black t-shirt and shorts, sitting on a chair with a gentle smile. A gray bag and a box are placed on the table, with blackout curtains and an air purifier in the background. His calm expression and the serene lighting reflect his current state of mind.

Jin Tae-hyun, born in 1981, is 44 years old and married to actress Park Si-eun, who is a year older. The couple married in 2015 and adopted a college-aged daughter in 2019. Jin Tae-hyun revealed in May that he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent surgery on June 24, later informing fans that the cancer cells had been removed.
