K-pop star Moon Hee-jun and his wife So-yul recently found themselves in a playful debate over a high-end speaker purchase.

On the 15th, the couple shared a video titled 'Buying a $50,000 Speaker?! Couple's War Part 2' on their YouTube channel 'Jami House.'

In the video, Moon Hee-jun, accompanied by his wife So-yul, daughter Hee-yul (JamJam), and son Hee-woo (BboBbo), visited a store to purchase speakers. He explained that the speakers were necessary for his music work as he prepares for the 30th anniversary of his debut with H.O.T.

Moon Hee-jun revealed that he had narrowed down his choices to two speakers, expressing regret over not purchasing them earlier. "When I was single, I would buy things on a whim, but now I have to explain why I need them," he lamented.

He emphasized his desire to "get back into music production" and acknowledged his wife's point that they already had speakers. The salesperson chimed in, saying, "It's about continuously upgrading your auditory experience."

Moon Hee-jun pleaded for understanding, stating, "This is an investment in my work." So-yul, feeling misunderstood, clarified, "I never opposed it," but Moon Hee-jun countered, "You give me a look."

When So-yul suggested keeping only one good speaker, Moon Hee-jun humorously retorted, "Then you should keep only one good bag." He promised to sell the existing speakers if he bought new ones.

After testing the sound and performance of the two speakers, Moon Hee-jun was visibly pleased. The speakers, priced at approximately $20,000 and $27,400, surprised So-yul.

Back home, the debate continued. Moon Hee-jun expressed his desire to purchase both speakers, citing their different colors and his long-standing wish to own them.

So-yul was skeptical about the $50,000 investment, but Moon Hee-jun argued it was for producing better music. He also humorously asked for permission to buy a gaming console.

So-yul mentioned Moon Hee-jun's past headphone purchases, to which he explained, "I needed them to enjoy music again. Listening to music brings me happiness and healing."

Understanding her husband's passion, So-yul relented, saying, "Since you're starting music work again for your 30th anniversary, go ahead and buy both." However, their daughter JamJam's gesture to buy only one made Moon Hee-jun reconsider.

Meanwhile, Moon Hee-jun's group H.O.T. is set to headline the 'Hanteo Music Festival' on September 6th and 7th.
