Japanese model Harin (real name Harada Rin), known as a former trainee for the group NewJeans, has addressed the recent controversy surrounding her comments about her trainee days.

On October 14, Harin took to her YouTube channel community to clarify, "The remarks I made in the interview were solely about my personal experiences of frustration and disappointment in the past. There was no intention to criticize or expose any specific company or individual."

She added, "Those times were indeed challenging, but they were also a period of growth for me. I continue to support the members I laughed and cried with back then." Harin further expressed her commitment to her fans, saying, "I will strive to show a better version of myself. No matter how the seasons change, I will remain the same Harin."

Previously, on October 12, Harin appeared on a YouTube channel run by Japanese actor Hiromitsu Takeda, where she recalled, "Just before debut, I had to give up my idol dreams due to a sudden decision by the company. I was informed of the contract termination and had to leave the team alone." She reflected, "That time shaped who I am today. I learned the meaning of effort and the difficulties of the process."

Following her statements, Harin's social media has been flooded with both support and criticism.
