Actor Ryu Jin and Son Chan-ho Reminisce About 'Dad, Where Are We Going?' Days

Actor Ryu Jin and his second son, Chan-ho, took a trip down memory lane, recalling their time on the popular show 'Dad, Where Are We Going?'.

On the 4th, the YouTube channel 'Most Stylish Ryu Jin' released a video titled 'Watching Dad, Where Are We Going? Again with Chan-ho After 10 Years'.

In the video, Ryu Jin asked his close friend, actress Kim Na-un, for a pancake recipe and began cooking. He mentioned, "Chan-ho is currently busy with work. He'll come if I send an SOS," hinting at his son's appearance.

Eventually, Ryu Jin called Chan-ho, jokingly saying, "If the cooking noise is loud, you should come help," and pretended to give him a kiss. Chan-ho, now a high school senior standing at 186cm, humorously dodged his father.

Chan-ho recalled a rainy day when Ryu Jin made kimchi pancakes, and when asked about the taste, he simply nodded, causing laughter.

Ryu Jin delegated most of the cooking to Chan-ho, who, when given a solo shot, shyly responded to requests for his own YouTube channel. Originally the channel's owner, he playfully complained, "It was stolen from me," drawing attention.

While making seafood pancakes, Ryu Jin asked, "Do you remember making pancakes during the holidays on 'Dad, Where Are We Going?'" Chan-ho, who was four at the time, replied, "I don't remember. But I do remember you secretly buying me toys and hiding them under the bed," bringing smiles.

Ryu Jin confidently stated, "If I ask Chan-ho to do something, we can do it together for a week," but Chan-ho humorously disagreed, showcasing their playful father-son chemistry.

When Ryu Jin expressed a desire to add oysters to the pancakes, Chan-ho mentioned his shellfish allergy, saying, "Then I can't eat it." Ryu Jin lamented, "Chan-ho doesn't like going out with me these days. Please spend time with your dad," to which Chan-ho replied, "I never liked it," displaying his tsundere side.

Meanwhile, Ryu Jin and Chan-ho watched 'Dad, Where Are We Going?' together, a show that aired about 10 years ago. Chan-ho admitted, "I don't remember even after watching the video." When a scene of Chan-ho riding a bicycle followed by a sparring scene appeared, Chan-ho jokingly accused, "Why did you hit me? It was clearly a counter," to which Ryu Jin humorously denied, "I didn't even touch you. That's how I raised you," eliciting laughter.
