Actress Im Soo-jung Reveals Her K-Pop Obsession with BTS and Stray Kids' Felix

Actress Im Soo-jung recently shared her growing interest in K-pop idols on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip 2'.

On the episode aired on the 29th, Im Soo-jung expressed her admiration for BTS, stating, "I've consistently liked them. I'm looking forward to what kind of albums and music activities they'll show once all the members complete their military service."

When asked by host Jang Do-yeon if she had visited a famous tteokbokki restaurant popularized by BTS, Im Soo-jung replied, "I'm not at that level of fandom. I attend concerts, buy all their albums, purchase merchandise, and am a member of the official fan club. I support them wholeheartedly."

Recalling her experience at the 2019 MAMA where she presented an award to BTS, Im Soo-jung said, "I was already a fan. I was so nervous when they came on stage. When I told them I was a fan, they said, 'Thank you, we are too,' which made me incredibly happy."

Im Soo-jung also expressed gratitude towards fans, saying, "Liking someone made me more thankful for the fans."

She also revealed her newfound interest in another idol, saying, "I recently got curious about Stray Kids' Felix." Her candid confession brought laughter.

Im Soo-jung explained, "When everyone was talking about 'Felix', I was late to the party. I like his music, but I was drawn to his charm after watching interviews. He's great at expressing himself and small talk. I even watched behind-the-scenes videos of fashion shows. He seems like someone from another world."

Discussing her path to becoming a fan, Im Soo-jung noted, "Watching stage performances and music videos often leads to fancams appearing in my algorithm." She added, "I don't search my own name. It's better not to. I only check reactions after a project is released to understand areas for improvement."

Reflecting on her past habit of searching her name after waking up, Im Soo-jung shared, "I realized not many people are that interested in me. I decided not to dwell on it."
