Actress Lee Ha-nee Radiates Beauty in Maternity Update Amid Tax Controversy

In the photo, Lee is seen sitting on a yoga mat in a sunlit fitness space, taking a selfie. Dressed in a gray fitted t-shirt and black leggings, she flaunts her slim arms and facial features, exuding health and vitality despite being heavily pregnant.
Particularly captivating is Lee's serene and mature smile as she embraces her prominent baby bump. The backdrop of a blue sky and sea, along with the sunlit window, complements her warm energy, creating a picturesque scene.

Previously, Lee announced her second pregnancy. Born in 1983, the 42-year-old actress married a non-celebrity in 2021 and has a daughter born in 2022. She is expecting to welcome her second daughter this year.
Meanwhile, Lee addressed past tax issues involving a 6 billion KRW (approximately 60 million USD) tax penalty. Her agency, Team Hope, clarified that the income from her entertainment activities was reported as corporate income to separate it from personal assets and obligations, and corporate taxes were duly paid.
They further explained, "During a recent 'Comprehensive Tax Audit for Corporate Artists' (covering a five-year period), tax authorities interpreted that even if Lee's entertainment income was reported as corporate revenue and corporate taxes were paid, it should have been subject to personal income tax. Consequently, an additional income tax was imposed, which Lee has fully paid."
