South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Passes Away at 31 After Battle with Stomach Cancer

Her funeral was held on the morning of the 16th at 7:40 AM at the Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. She will be laid to rest in her family’s burial site in Haman, Gyeongnam.
Kang Seo-ha succumbed to her illness on the 13th, after being diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer last year. Her condition worsened rapidly following her second round of chemotherapy.
A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, Kang Seo-ha was remembered by her peers. Fellow actress Park Joo-hyun expressed her condolences, saying, "Rest in peace. Ye-won, may you continue to smile beautifully without pain where you are." Seo Eun-soo also paid tribute by sharing a photo with Kang on social media, writing, "Ye-won, eat well and be happy where you are. Let's share all the stories we couldn't when we meet again."
Kang Seo-ha made her debut in 2012 in the music video for 'Getting Farther' by the comedy group 'Brave Guys.' She went on to appear in various dramas, including 'Detectives of Seonam Girls' High School' (2014), 'The Flower in Prison' (2016), 'Heart Surgeons' (2018), and 'Nobody Knows' (2020). Her final film, 'Mangnaein,' was recently completed and will serve as her posthumous work.
