Koo Jun-yeop, a renowned singer, continues to mourn the loss of his wife, actress Xu Xi Yuan, as touching stories about their relationship emerge.

According to Taiwanese media outlet ET Today, Koo Jun-yeop remains in deep sorrow four months after Xu Xi Yuan's passing. The outlet shared a poignant story about a black comb, which has become a cherished memento. Koo reportedly kept the comb for over 20 years after Xu left it during a visit to Korea. He returned it to her when they reunited and married in 2022, and it now serves as a keepsake of the late actress.

The media also revisited Koo's appearance on the SBS variety show 'Shoes Off, Single for Men,' where he revealed that he still treasures a sweater Xu gifted him two decades ago, never considering discarding it. This revelation has deeply moved many Taiwanese fans, who admire Koo's enduring devotion.

Reports indicate that Koo visits Jinbaoshan, where Xu's ashes are interred, daily. Recently, local residents claimed that Koo was seen exploring a new apartment complex near Jinbaoshan, known for its stunning natural scenery and views of the mountain.

The journey from Koo's current residence in Taipei to Jinbaoshan takes over an hour by car. His potential move closer to the site is seen as a testament to his desire to remain near his late wife.

However, it remains unconfirmed whether Koo will indeed purchase a unit in the complex. Xu's mother commented, "I haven't heard about that, but I know Koo truly loved Xi Yuan."

Xu Xi Yuan tragically passed away on February 2nd due to acute pneumonia while traveling in Japan with her family for the Lunar New Year. Her funeral was held on March 15th at the Rose Garden in Jinbaoshan, Taiwan. Koo Jun-yeop carried her urn to the burial site, staying by her side until the very end. He is currently working on a statue of Xu, expected to be completed by 2026.
