Koo Jun-yeob Considers Moving Near Late Actress Xu Xiyuan's Resting Place

Reports have emerged that singer Koo Jun-yeob, 56, is considering relocating near the resting place of late actress Xu Xiyuan.

According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday, a local resident recently claimed that Koo visited a newly constructed apartment near Jinbaoshan about two months ago. The apartment is situated in a scenic suburban area, with some units offering views of Jinbaoshan.

However, it remains unconfirmed whether Koo has decided to purchase a unit. Xu Xiyuan's mother stated, "I haven't heard anything about that. But Koo Jun-yeob truly loved Xiyuan."

Meanwhile, Xu Xiyuan passed away from acute pneumonia caused by the flu on February 2nd while traveling in Japan with her family for the Lunar New Year. Her funeral was held on March 15th at the Rose Garden in Jinbaoshan, Taiwan. Koo Jun-yeob was present, carrying her urn to the burial site, staying by her side until the very end.

It is reported that Koo visits Jinbaoshan daily since Xu Xiyuan's passing. He is currently working on a statue of Xu, which is expected to be completed by 2026.
