Veteran Actors Embrace Newcomers in Musical Debut of 'Even If This Love Disappears Tonight'

On the afternoon of the 19th, a press call for the musical 'Even If This Love Disappears Tonight' was held at Shinhan Card Artium in COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul. Attendees included Lee Joon, Yoon So-ho, Kim In-sung, Jang Min-je, Solbin, Oh Yu-min, and Na Hyun-young, who shared various insights about the production.
The musical 'Even If This Love Disappears Tonight' is based on a famous Japanese novel. It tells the tender and poignant love story of Hino Maori, a girl suffering from anterograde amnesia, and Kamiya Toru, an ordinary high school student living a mundane life.
This production marks the musical debut of Lee Joon, formerly of MBLAQ, and Solbin, formerly of LABOUM. How did the veteran actors view these newcomers?

Yoon So-ho explained to Lee Joon, "It's just like a regular performance, but today there are reporters, flashes, and videos being taken, so there's pressure not to leave a bad impression." Lee Joon then asked, "Is this performance being filmed?" and quickly began reviewing the script. This was the moment Yoon So-ho referred to.
Yoon So-ho reflected, "When I started, I knew nothing. There weren't many resources available back then."
He continued, "I am someone who warmly welcomes and wants to help those who are transitioning from other fields to this one. Even I had a time when nothing was perfect," he recalled.
He added, "Because I knew so little, I hoped someone would guide me, and I wished for support. Thinking of my past self, it's only natural to help those who are new to musicals and struggling as team members. This creates a virtuous cycle where those who learn can teach future newcomers in other productions."
