The company stated, "Upon receiving information about Ju Haknyeon's involvement in a personal issue, we immediately suspended his activities and conducted a thorough investigation. We recognized the seriousness of the matter and concluded that it was challenging to maintain trust in him as an artist. After extensive discussions with The Boyz members, we finalized Ju Haknyeon's departure from the team and the termination of his exclusive contract."
Previously, reports surfaced alleging that Ju Haknyeon had spent a night with former Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara (37) and engaged in paid sexual activities. A source also indicated that a producer affiliated with One Hundred was similarly sidelined due to issues related to prostitution.
