Girls' Generation's Seohyun Reveals Why She's Never Had a Dating Scandal

Seohyun from Girls' Generation recently opened up about why she's never been involved in a dating scandal.

On October 16, Seohyun and fellow Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon appeared on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup.'

During the show, Seohyun and Hyoyeon shared, "We recently cried our hearts out while talking in the car. We were reminiscing about the past, and despite being together for 20 years, there are still things we don't know about each other."

Hyoyeon revealed that during their Girls' Generation days, she would drink until 6 AM and then head to a schedule at 8 AM, saying, "Back then, I was like an energizer. If I was lying down with a mask on, people would think I drank the night before."

Seohyun, known as the 'Girls' Generation CCTV,' shared, "When the older members drank, I would take them to their rooms and help them remove their makeup. I even stopped them from going out when they were drunk."

Hyoyeon expressed her gratitude for Seohyun's interventions, admitting, "Seeing her made me feel like I was living my life wrong." Seohyun responded, "I was particularly peculiar."

Seohyun would often remind her older members to "drink moderately and walk straight," emphasizing proper etiquette.

Hyoyeon recalled, "In our 20s, there were times when we liked guys. But Seohyun would say, 'We have the image of Girls' Generation to uphold. You can't meet them.' Eventually, I stopped telling her who I was seeing because of her nagging."

Shin Dong-yup marveled at Seohyun's lack of dating scandals, asking, "How has Seohyun never been caught? Is she like the last bastion?"

Seohyun explained, "Girls' Generation was everything to me—my goal, my dream, my identity." Hyoyeon added, "When we liked someone, we would share it among the members. But for Seohyun, Girls' Generation always came first."

Seohyun admitted, "As the youngest, I felt that I couldn't have a dating scandal. Instead, I learned a lot indirectly by watching my older sisters. I realized, 'I shouldn't date guys like that,'" she laughed.

Meanwhile, Seohyun drew attention by acknowledging the online rumors of her being 'practically single,' saying, "If there was a guy like me, I would marry him."
