Kim Jeong-hoon Shares Update from Japan Amidst Past Controversies

Singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon recently shared an update from Japan.

On October 15, Kim posted on his Instagram, "First time attending a Japanese wedding🏰 (at a church). Ate so much delicious food, I might gain weight again ㅜㅜ," along with two photos.

In the photos, Kim appears to be a guest at a wedding. He caught attention with his all-navy suit, silver tie, and blonde hairstyle, exuding a princely visual.

Kim Jeong-hoon was embroiled in a personal controversy in 2019. A woman, claiming to be his ex-girlfriend, alleged that "Kim urged her to terminate a pregnancy and promised a rental deposit of 10 million KRW but failed to provide 9 million KRW and cut off contact," leading her to file a lawsuit.

The two reportedly began dating in spring 2018 and discovered the pregnancy in December of that year.

While Kim initially stated he would take responsibility if the child was his, the woman seemed to withdraw the lawsuit. However, Kim later filed a lawsuit against her in September 2020, seeking damages of approximately 100 million KRW, claiming she had threatened him multiple times and spread false information.

In January 2023, the court dismissed Kim's lawsuit, citing insufficient evidence to support his claims.

Additionally, in December last year, Kim was involved in a traffic accident near Gangnam, Seoul, and refused a police breathalyzer test. He was subsequently sent to the prosecution without detention for refusing the test and causing injury under the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.

Despite these incidents, Kim continues his activities without a significant period of self-reflection. He was also charged with drunk driving in 2017, resulting in the cancellation of his driver's license.
