Kim Woo-bin Expresses Desire for Romance Roles on 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box'

On October 10, actor Kim Woo-bin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box'.
Introducing Kim Woo-bin, Hong Seok-cheon said, "He's a gem I raised. He kept his promise to appear on the show. He's truly a cherished gem of mine."
Upon his entrance, Kim Woo-bin humorously remarked, "I was a bit surprised. I was told to hide behind a pillar, but it was too narrow," and added, "It's fascinating to be here in person after watching it on video. My hands are sweating."

Hong Seok-cheon expressed his joy, saying, "It was a time when dinosaur-like actors were in the spotlight. The moment I saw Kim Woo-bin, I felt it. I persistently persuaded him to act, and he eventually became a top actor."
Kim Woo-bin's rebellious character Choi Young-do from 'The Heirs' (2013) continues to be popular overseas, with younger actors referencing his performance for their roles.

Transitioning to romance roles in 'Uncontrollably Fond' and 'Our Blues', Kim Woo-bin said, "I've always wanted to do romance. It's something that requires the right timing, so I was very happy. I thought maybe this was the script I was looking for and filmed happily."
When asked about his most cherished work, Kim Woo-bin mentioned his upcoming project 'All Will Be Fulfilled', saying, "It's probably because I just finished it, so it lingers in my mind. It's a work by writer Kim Eun-sook, and I play the role of the genie of the lamp."
