BTS Members RM and V Complete Military Service, Ready to Rejoin Society

BTS members RM and V have officially completed their military service and returned to civilian life.

On the 10th, RM and V concluded their active duty in the South Korean Army. RM made a memorable appearance by playing the saxophone, wearing sunglasses, and performing the theme song from the anime 'Detective Conan.' Meanwhile, V held RM's bouquet and smiled brightly. The duo stood side by side, saluting with a spirited "Loyalty!" and "Victory!"

RM shared his thoughts on completing his service, saying, "I am Sergeant Kim Nam-joon from the 15th Division Military Band, and I have finally been discharged. Honestly, our military service was relatively short, and conditions have improved significantly. Despite the challenges, I realized how many people protected our country while we were active. It was a meaningful time to grow closer to my father, friends, and fellow soldiers."

He continued, "I am concerned about the juniors still serving, and I hope they endure well and return to society healthy. I want to thank ARMY for waiting. I will return as BTS's RM and perform with passion. Thank you to everyone who supported and waited for us."

V expressed his gratitude, saying, "I have been discharged as Sergeant Kim Tae-hyung. Loyalty." He added, "It was a time to refocus my body and mind. I want to run to ARMY as soon as possible and thank them for waiting. Please wait a little longer, and I will return with an amazing performance." V also mentioned, "There are still people in the unit who took care of me. I hope they complete their service safely. Thank you for your support, and I will strive to be a good and impressive person in society."

The anticipation for their future activities is high. RM stated, "I want to perform the most. I will work hard on the album and return to the stage soon," jokingly adding, "No more returning to the unit, only to the stage." He concluded, "We will greet you again as BTS's RM and V."

RM and V enlisted in December 2023, serving in the 15th Infantry Division and the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force, respectively. On the 11th, Jimin and Jungkook will complete their service, and on the 21st, Suga will be discharged from his alternative service as a social service agent.
