G-DRAGON Denies Long-Standing Romance Rumors with Actress Lee Ju-yeon

K-pop star G-DRAGON has officially denied the persistent dating rumors with former After School member and actress Lee Ju-yeon.

On the 6th, G-DRAGON's agency, Galaxy Corporation, released a statement emphasizing, "We want to clarify that the ongoing rumors about G-DRAGON and Lee Ju-yeon dating are not true."

The rumors initially gained traction on online communities on September 28th. Some netizens speculated that the background of a photo Lee Ju-yeon posted on her social media resembled the interior of G-DRAGON's home.

On September 27th, Lee Ju-yeon shared a selfie with a cat on her social media. Observant fans noted that the arrangement of the picture frames and sofa in the photo seemed similar to those in G-DRAGON's home. Additionally, they pointed out that the cat in the photo appeared to be wearing a necklace similar to one worn by G-DRAGON's pet.

This is not the first time the two have been embroiled in dating rumors. Since 2017, G-DRAGON and Lee Ju-yeon have faced a total of five rounds of speculation. When the first rumor surfaced, both parties' agencies denied the claims, stating they were "just close colleagues." In subsequent instances, they chose to remain silent.
