Musical Actor Park Jun-hwi Withdraws from 'Nijinsky' Amid Personal Scandal

On the 5th, the production company Showplay announced, "Actor Park Jun-hwi, who played the role of Nijinsky, has decided to leave the performance due to personal reasons. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the decision to withdraw and the changes in the casting schedule."
Park Jun-hwi had been passionately performing as the lead role of Nijinsky since the show began on March 25. However, he has been embroiled in a personal scandal and is subsequently withdrawing from multiple productions.
Earlier that day, a post titled 'The Reason for Last Night's Musical Scene Chaos' appeared on an online community.
The post included a photo of a male musical actor in his underwear with a female ensemble cast member from the same production. In the photo, both individuals were kneeling with their heads bowed.
The author of the community post explained, "It seems the man's fiancée caught them in the act of infidelity and posted the photo on the man's social media account."
The incident was particularly shocking as it occurred on the day of the actor's first performance in the production. Audience members, who learned of the scandal after the ticket cancellation deadline, expressed their frustration, stating, "Cancellation is impossible at this point."
Meanwhile, Park Jun-hwi is also scheduled to appear in 'The Goddess is Watching' in Gwangju on the 14th and 'Ddeungdeunggok' opening on the 24th.
