Actress Kim Gyu-ri Shares Poignant Instagram Post Following South Korean Presidential Election

Actress Kim Gyu-ri took to Instagram shortly after the 21st South Korean presidential election to share a thoughtful message and photo.

On March 4th, Kim posted on her account, "The most beautiful scenery in the world is when everything returns to its place." This quote is a line from the song 'Scenery' by the band Poet and the Village Chief, subtly conveying her thoughts without further explanation.

In the accompanying photo, Kim is seen smiling brightly against a backdrop of a clear blue sky, wearing a blue striped cardigan.

The post was made at a time when Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea was virtually confirmed as the winner. Previously, on February 4th, Kim had posted a photo of ramen topped with green onions, captioned "Green Onion Set," following the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-youl.

Meanwhile, Kim Gyu-ri is currently starring in the recently released film 'Shinmyeong.' The occult thriller explores themes of shamanism and power, with Kim portraying Yoon Ji-hee, a character who uses shamanism and plastic surgery to ascend to the highest echelons of power.
