K-Pop idols are increasingly interacting with the senior artists they have long admired, creating buzz among fans as they become 'successful fans' or 'seongdeok.'

Yuushi from NCT WISH has been a longtime fan of EXO's Kai, a senior artist from the same agency. With both artists making comebacks around the same time, fans eagerly anticipated their collaboration. Their wish came true when Kai and Yuushi appeared together on the YouTube channel 'Code' in the web variety show 'Cellphone Code.' Even without knowing who he would be speaking with, Yuushi expressed his admiration for EXO, proving his genuine fandom. When asked about his favorite member, he promptly replied, "Kai sunbaenim since I was young."

The fresh combination of rookie Yuushi, in his second year, and veteran Kai, in his 14th year, captured the attention of both fans and the general public. As of 9 AM on the 17th, the video topped YouTube's trending videos. Both NCT WISH and Kai are making their comebacks amid high interest.

IVE's Rei has also expressed her admiration for Red Velvet's Joy multiple times, revealing that Joy inspired her to pursue a career in music. On the November 11th episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone,' viewers saw the close bond between the two. Rei visited Joy's home, and they spent time together. Joy shared, "Rei is one of my deep friends, like a sister who sleeps next to me. We grow closer each time we meet, and we meet more often."

TXT's Soobin has been a fan of KARA since before his debut. In November last year, Soobin hosted a 'KARA Presentation' on the YouTube channel 'Fixed.' Park Gyuri made a surprise appearance in the video, and Soobin's fanboy reaction brought smiles to viewers. Later, Soobin appeared on Park Gyuri's YouTube channel 'I Am Gyuri,' where they shared various stories, marking another 'successful fan' moment.

This trend of idols interacting with their senior and junior counterparts is becoming a new norm. It not only diversifies K-Pop content but also boosts the popularity and recognition of both parties involved.
