KiiiKiii's Jiyoo to Shine as Special MC on Mnet's 'M Countdown'

Jiyoo from the group KiiiKiii is set to take on the role of a special MC.

According to Starship Entertainment, KiiiKiii member Jiyoo will appear as a special MC on Mnet's 'M Countdown' airing at 6 PM on the 17th. The agency expressed their anticipation, stating, "Since her debut, Jiyoo has showcased her sharp wit and sense through various content and radio appearances. Her first stint as an MC on a music show is expected to prove her capabilities."

Jiyoo first showed her potential during her debut interview on 'M Countdown' in February. As the leader of KiiiKiii, she clearly explained the meaning behind the group's name, capturing attention. She also participated in the 'I DO ME' challenge with the MCs, adding energy to the broadcast.

Notably, on the 'M Countdown' chart show 'Boy and Girl M Countdown White Paper' on the 13th of last month, Jiyoo's charm was on full display. Despite it being her debut as a host, she delivered her lines flawlessly and showcased her witty reactions, confidently urging viewers to "vote for your girl Jiyoo."

Previously, Jiyoo made a mark with her distinctive bob hairstyle in the 'I DO ME' music video, earning nicknames like 'Bobbed Hair Girl' and 'Bob Fairy.' Her performances of the track 'BTG' highlighted her powerful rapping and unique vocals, earning her praise for her versatile appeal.
