SHINee Celebrates Late Member Jonghyun's 36th Birthday with Heartfelt Tributes

SHINee honors the memory of their late member Jonghyun on what would have been his 36th birthday.

On April 8, SHINee's official social media channels shared a post commemorating Jonghyun's birthday. The post featured a photo of Jonghyun smiling brightly with a microphone in hand.

Fellow member Minho also paid tribute to Jonghyun, posting on his personal social media, "Happy birthday. I always miss you," along with a photo of Jonghyun. Minho included a picture of the two of them together, showcasing their youthful appearances.

Born on April 8, Jonghyun would have turned 36 this year. Tragically, he passed away in December 2017 at the age of 27. Jonghyun debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 and was known for his vibrant career as a singer-songwriter, showcasing his musical talents.

Jonghyun's sister, Kim Sodam, announced last year a psychological counseling project for young cultural artists. Through the YouTube channel 'Foundation Bithina,' she expressed, "There are stories you've wanted to tell but couldn't, struggles you've faced alone. I believe we can overcome these challenges together. Don't stay trapped in that time; come out and let's overcome it together."
