Red Velvet's Wendy Tops Poll as Most Desired Female Singer to See Cherry Blossoms With

Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to see cherry blossoms with.

From March 24 to 30, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to see cherry blossoms with?' Wendy from Red Velvet emerged as the top choice. She recently received enthusiastic applause for her performance of three songs, including 'Like Water,' with an orchestra at the SM Classics Live 2025 concert with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra on March 14 and 15. Wendy, along with fellow Red Velvet member Yeri, has yet to renew her contract with SM Entertainment, while Joy, Seulgi, and Irene have confirmed their contract extensions.

In second place is Lee Chaeyeon. Born in 2000 and now 25 years old, she gained fame as a finalist on Mnet's girl group survival audition program 'Produce 48' in 2018. She was a main dancer and lead vocalist for IZ*ONE until April 2021. As a solo artist, she debuted on October 12, 2022, and is currently appearing on the SBS variety show 'Kick a Goal' as a member of FC Top Girl.

Secret Number's Soodam secured the third spot. The group recently held their first solo concert, 'SECRET NUMBER pasSworLd CONCERT,' in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the Senayan Tennis Indoor Stadium, successfully connecting with local fans. Last August, they released their seventh single album 'STARLIGHT,' which conveys the message that while we may long for distant, brilliant things, there is plenty of beauty close by.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to get caught in the spring rain with?' and 'Which female singer would you like to get caught in the spring rain with?' as well as similar polls for male and female trot singers.
