DRIPPIN's Cha Junho Transforms into 'First Love' Heartthrob in Upcoming Drama

The drama 'First Love,' featuring Cha Junho, will premiere on April 18 via U+ Mobile TV and U+ TV.

In 'First Love,' Cha Junho takes on his first acting challenge, playing the role of the Japanese exchange student Hikari. He is expected to enhance the drama's immersion with his delicate portrayal of a pure and caring character, while showcasing a chemistry full of excitement with actress Hwang Jia, who plays Hana.
As the center of the 'trending' group DRIPPIN, which enjoys immense popularity in Japan, Cha Junho is also expected to impress with his fluent Japanese skills.
The drama 'First Love,' which marks Cha Junho's acting debut, is already garnering significant attention from domestic fans. It also heightened global anticipation by hosting an exclusive showcase at last year's Tokyo Film Market (TIFFCOM).

The production team stated, "'First Love' is a work that sensibly captures the excitement, pain, and growth process of first love, beyond simple romance. The changing openings for each episode, the sensory direction, and the OST that enhances it will offer viewers a special emotional experience."
Cha Junho first gained recognition by appearing on Mnet's 'Produce X 101' in 2019 and later performed as a member of the project group X1. Now, he is set to showcase a different side as an actor.
'First Love' will be available to domestic and international viewers starting April 18 on U+ Mobile TV and U+ TV, with Cha Junho's episode airing on the 25th.
