Actor Kim Soo-hyun Denies Dating Rumors with Late Actress Kim Sae-ron Amid New Allegations

Actor Kim Soo-hyun has denied allegations of dating the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor, as new claims continue to surface.

The YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Institute' (Gaseyeon) conducted a live broadcast on the 28th titled '[Shocking Exclusive] Dragon Ball with High School Sophomore Kim Sae-ron.' During the broadcast, 'Gaseyeon' revealed messages purportedly exchanged between Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron.

'Gaseyeon' presented a conversation from April 2, 2018, as new evidence. In the messages, Kim Soo-hyun expressed a desire to see Kim Sae-ron, saying, "I want to see Sae-ron quickly," "I want to see you right now," and "Don't go home, come to me." At the time of this conversation, Kim Sae-ron was 17 years old, a minor.

The messages also showed Kim Sae-ron expressing disappointment over not being able to communicate with Kim Soo-hyun while he was on military leave. She said, "I understand you have many people to meet and things to do on leave, but I'm disappointed." Kim Soo-hyun apologized, saying, "I'm sorry." When Kim Sae-ron asked what he was doing, Kim Soo-hyun replied, "I just got a massage, my body hurts. Doing laundry, all clothes off. Dragon Ball."

Initially, Kim Soo-hyun's side denied the dating rumors with Kim Sae-ron, but as the controversy grew, they revised their statement, saying they dated from 2019 to 2020 after she became an adult. On the 27th, Kim Sae-ron's family held a press conference, presenting evidence that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun while she was still a minor.
